The Fairtex FGV13 is an MMA glove from the same family as the FGV12 Ultimate Combat. Fairtex has described the FGV13 series as similar to the FGV12 but with an extended thumb strap, a detail aimed at extra safety during grappling and clinching. It keeps the MMA glove layout fighters rely on for grips, scrambles and takedowns.
Features
- Extended thumb strap compared with the FGV12, for added safety in grappling and clinch exchanges
- Built on the FGV12 Ultimate Combat glove concept
- Padded knuckle area for striking
- Fingers free for grips, wrestling and ground work
Ideal for
MMA athletes who like the feel of the FGV12 but want more security around the thumb, for regular training, drilling and controlled sparring. A good fit for fighters who spend a lot of rounds in the clinch.
